Gateshead
Cleveland Hall Community Football Club (the club) expects all players to:
1. Know and respect the rules of football, and abide by them at all times
2. Show respect and courtesy to club officials and coaches by following their instructions
and directions at all times.
3. Respect the match officials and refrain from addressing them or commenting on
their decisions during or after the game.
4. Maintain control of his/her emotions, avoiding the use of abusive or foul language,
taunting or humiliating remarks, and/or gestures and physical assault upon a player
at anytime.
5. Respect the coaches, players, and officials of the opposing team and display
sportsmanship during and at the conclusion of the game, to be humble and generous
in victory and courteous in defeat.
6. Follow all league rules and regulations, respecting at all times the property
of others
7. Remember that football is a GAME and treat players, coaches and officals of opposing
team as opponents not enemies.
8. Show respect to club property and equipment taking care to look after it at all
times.
Disciplinary
Procedure
Any player found to breach this code of conduct
shall be subject to the following sanctions:
1. An initial verbal warning from his/her Team Manager/Age Group co-ordinator.
2. A second verbal warning from the Club Leader/Senior Club Official
3. For continual or serious infringements of the code of conduct, a suspension from
all club activities of 2 weeks minimum at the discretion of the Club Leader &
a Senior Club official.
4. Upon completion of the suspension, the player and a parent guardian will be required
to attend a meeting with the Club to determine the final outcome of the players
future.
